This has led to increased knowledge, experience, and expertise in dealing with the digital and digitising needs of this sector. With a robust end-to-end solution system for complex disclosures domestically and with a view to expand globally, Informa decided that the UK public sector market would be a strategic move for expansion for the following reasons.

  1. Similar Market: Despite the UK being outside the EU, there remains similar and adaptable business and litigation processes that can be laterally applied to their public sector.
  2. Good Domestic Track Record: Leveraging our successes, our contacts and our accreditation status is our trump card.
  3. Software Partners: ZyLAB, our software partners, already have a presence in the UK, which they hope to grow in tandem with our expansion plans.

Before setting sail on these unchartered waters, Tom Gilsenan, co-founder of Informa, completed a post-grad on International Markets, to help map out the journey. The following were his navigational tools.

  2. Financial Investment: A thorough analysis and subsequent report, was conducted, detailing the disclosure challenges facing the public sector in the UK, along with investment in data centre infrastructure.   
  3. G-Cloud Framework UK: Admission onto this framework increases our visibility, credibility, and accessibility with public sector agencies for multiple Cloud Solutions.
